Skiing in the Adirondacks, Berkshires, Bennington, Catskills, Mohawk Valley

People may not think of New York as a skiing powerhouse, but it is. There are more skiing/snowboarding centers in New York than any other state. A 2013 report by an industry trade group found there are slopes within 90 minutes of every major metropolitan center in the state.  Nowhere is that more true than the Capital Region, where snowsports in the Adirondacks, Berkshires, Catskills, Mohawk Valley and Southern Vermont are all within 90 minutes or less.
