Rediscover Lenox

Lenox Caroling Festival

The frost emerges each morning while the brisk air reminds us that the holidays will be arriving soon. It’s a magical time of year to visit the Berkshires and a wonderful time to visit the Town of Lenox.

Lenox is celebrating the arrival of the holidays with an inaugural three-day event called Making Spirits Bright. From Friday, December 4th through Sunday, December 6th, the town will transform into something pulled from a storybook. This picturesque New England village will feature twinkling storefronts and holiday lights strewn about. A great time to get gift buying off your list, be sure to Shop Lenox, as Lenox’s village stores will have extended shopping hours. Saturday, December 5th is the Holiday Stroll, featuring caroling, street entertainment and a hot cocoa station to warm you up! Sunday’s events include a performance of the Children’s Choir at Trinity Church, a special Holiday Tea at Ventfort Hall (with nibbles and giveaways) and much more!

Do you have a passion for the outdoors? The winter is a lovely time to get outside and explore the diverse terrain of Lenox. From freshly groomed cross-country ski trails at Cranwell Resort to the undeniably adventurous terrain at Kennedy Park. Need the gear? The Arcadian Shop will get you outfitted and outdoors in no time. Want to be a weekend warrior without the commitment? Rent your gear from the Arcadian Shop and explore the park, steps away from one another!

Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, you won’t need to go far to get a hearty meal to warm you back up. Lenox’s restaurants are as diverse as they are delicious. You’ll find small shareable plates with big flavor at Brava, traditional Italian cuisine at Frankie’s Ristorante Italiano, and pan-Asian cuisine at Jae’s Asian Bistro to name a few. Coffee shops and wine stops, Lenox is sprinkled with palette-pleasing adventure.

Stay a night or two in whichever option best suits your family: from cozy inns to quaint B&B’s to centrally located hotels. Rest assured and rest easy. You’ll feel at home while spending time in Lenox with your family the perfect hub to get out and explore the Berkshires.
