Developed through workshops at Ford’s Theatre and the University of Michigan and premiering at Ford’s Theatre in September 2025\, this regional premiere highlights themes of nonviolence\, leadership and personal sacrifice while illuminating the immense pressure facing those who stood at the forefront of change. In the face of government surveillance\, intimidation\, arrests and constant threats\, these five figures forged a coalition grounded in trust\, intellect and unwavering belief in justice.

DESCRIPTION:The Knights return to the Clark with a performance that celebrates the An Exquisite Eye: Introducing the Aso O. Tavitian Collection exhibition. Based in New York City\, The Knights are a collective of musicians dedicated to transforming the orchestral experience and eliminating barriers between audience and music. Led by an open-minded spirit of camaraderie and collaboration\, they seek to engage with contemporary culture through vibrant performances that honor the classical tradition and their passion for musical discovery. The collective was founded and is directed by violinist Colin Jacobsen and conductor and cellist Eric Jacobsen\, who\, together\, also founded the Brooklyn Rider string quartet. The Knights’ roster boasts musicians of remarkably diverse talents\, including composers\, arrangers\, singer-songwriters\, and improvisers\, who bring a range of cultural influences to the group\, from jazz and klezmer to pop and indie rock music. Since their founding in 2007\, The Knights have toured and recorded with prominent soloists including Yo-Yo Ma\, Dawn Upshaw\, Béla Fleck\, Itzhak Perlman\, and Gil Shaham\, and have performed at Carnegie Hall\, Tanglewood\, and the Vienna Musikverein.

DESCRIPTION:Learn basic blacksmithing skills in a private lesson at the Village’s coal-fired forge. Working alongside one of the Village’s experienced blacksmiths\, learn to manage a coal forge fire; heat stock; form the stock using tools such as hammers and anvils; and complete finish work (which includes operating an electric grinder). No previous experience required. New participants will make two J hooks. Returning students have the option of moving on to other projects (for example\, S hooks\, fireplace poker\, nails\, or a small basic knife).

SUMMARY:Rev Tor’s 30th Anniversary Jam
DESCRIPTION:A portion of the proceeds will support The Jake Galliher Foundation. Rev Tor returns to The Colonial stage to celebrate 30 years! Since 1996\, Rev Tor has been a consistent presence on the East Coast club and festival circuit\, performing from Maine to Key West. Tor and his band have shared the stage with members of The Grateful Dead\, Dead & Co.\, Phish\, The Allman Brothers Band and New Riders of the Purple Sage. Over his 30+ year career\, he has also appeared at festivals and concerts alongside artists such as Leon Russell\, Los Lobos\, String Cheese Incident and many others. Along the way\, Rev Tor became known not only for his technical skill and soulful playing\, but for his collaborative spirit. Rev Tor 30th Anniversary Jam will feature many special guests and surprises throughout the night\, including former members and some special musical friends. An updated lineup of guests will be announced soon.
