Woven Word in the Woods: a creative writing workshop led by poet Lynn Bowmaster. Come enjoy yourself writing a love letter to nature! Choose either Session One: 11am to 1pm or Session Two: 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Jaclyn Comeau is the Wildlife Biologist at Vermont Fish and Wild life Department who has been researching the effect wind development has on the black bear population in Searsburg. Historically this area has served as the habitat of black bears. However, it has been invaded by industrial wind development. What effect has this had on the future of this population?…

Join Museum educators Tom Daly and Mary Berle for a walking history tour of Stockbridge Cemetery. Find burial sites for Norman Rockwell, Elizabeth Freeman, the Sedgwicks and other notable town residents. Enjoy cider and donuts before the tour on the lawn adjacent the Old Town Hall. Also meet Lindy Sears, the Stockbridge resident who keeps the tower chimes ringing. $8; members and children/teens 18 and under free.
