Community Access to the Arts (CATA) is hosting three, free afterschool art-making programs for families and caregivers with their children with disabilities. Workshops take place at the CATA studios in Great Barrington on three consecutive Wednesdays (January 25, February 1, and February 8) from 4-5pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Join CATA for this fun opportunity to create art and connect with other families and caregivers in a relaxed, judgment-free zone. Each workshop is led by artist and CATA faculty Hilary VanWright in painting, collage, and creative craft projects. Participants are free to attend one, two, or all three workshops. Registration is preferred, but drop-in’s are okay. Families and caregivers can sign up by emailing Kara Smith ([email protected]) or by calling CATA at 413-528-5485. Recommended child age range is 5-12, but all who are interested are welcome. More information, including COVID safety protocols, see the Event Website.
