After several years of COVID lockdowns & upheaval, LGBTQ+ Pride is back! Berkshire Stonewall Community Coalition (BSCC), the 25 year old coalition of LGBTQ+ regional organizations, in collaboration with Q-MoB (Queer Men of the Berkshires) and the Bard Queer Leadership Project, will be hosting an informal Berkshire Regional Queer Leadership Summit and Potluck to bring the leadership teams of the region’s LGBTQ+ organizations together to get to know one another and begin a renewed dialog about how they might collaborate and support one another in the coming year. The summit & potluck will be at the White House at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, hosted by Provost John B. Weinstein, who is the founder of the new Bard Queer Leadership Project at Simon’s Rock which is launching fall 2023, and his husband, Brian Mikesell, who serves on the boards of both BSCC and Q-MoB and is Director of the Alumni Library at Simon’s Rock. BSCC is not only inviting all its affiliate organizations, but also any other LGBTQ+ organization in the region that would like to participate.
