Virtual: Lines Ablaze: The Cliche-Verre in Nineteenth-Century France

In conjunction with the opening of A Change in the Light: The Cliché-verre in Nineteenth-Century France, Andrew Kensett, exhibition curator and 2020 graduate of the Williams Graduate Program in the History of Art, explores the history of the hybrid cliché-verre printing process and its adoption by a circle of French artists that included Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, Charles-François Daubigny, Eugène Delacroix, Jean-François Millet, and Théodore Rousseau.
