Member Rare Books Talk

June 25 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

In anticipation of the Clark’s special exhibition, Art’s Biggest Stage: Collecting the Venice Biennale, 2007–2019, Collections Development Librarian Terri Boccia and Collections Management Librarian Andrea Puccio present a rare books talk entitled, “Capturing the Spectacle: the Clark Library and Venice Biennale.” The talk gives members a behind-the-scenes look at the library’s ongoing Venice biennial project. Since 2007, the library has been collecting and preserving material created for each iteration of the Biennale—creating an unparalleled and growing group of books, electronic matter, and other ephemera related to this internationally renowned art extravaganza.

PLEASE NOTE: Reservations are required for all member events unless specified otherwise. Due to security regulations and the sensitive nature of works in our collection, we cannot accept walk-ins.

Space is limited; reservations are required. Check-in will take place at the Manton Research Center information desk.
