Take a ride on an authentic classic wooden carousel! There are thirty-nine horses, one donkey, a handicap accessible chariot, a rocking chariot, and a spinning tub all designed, crafted and painted by Berkshire residents. Thursday–Sunday, 12 PM – 4 PM.

Hanna-Barbera: The Architects of Saturday Morning, Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge
Before the rise of basic cable, Saturday mornings for many children in America were spent watching cartoons on. From 1958 through the 1980s, a majority of those cartoons bore the Hanna-Barbera imprint. Hanna-Barbera: The Architects of Saturday Morning is the first museum exhibition featuring the world’s most successful animation partnership. 10 AM – 5 PM.

Kidspace at MASS MoCA, North Adams
Kidspace is a child-centered art gallery and hands-on studio presenting exhibitions and educational experiences in collaboration with leading artists. Closed Tuesday. 10 AM – 5 PM.

KidsAct! at Barrington Stage Company, Pittsfield
KidsAct! Junior is an exciting theatre program for students ages 7-10. This one-week workshop intensive will focus on building acting and improvisation skills through fun theatre games, as well as the creation of an original play to be performed for parents and friends on the final day of the program. This week’s intensive will also offer classes in magic!

KidsAct! Senior is designed for ages 11-14 focuses on building performance skills through coaching, and individualized attention. Each student will write and develop their own monologue which they will be able to use in auditions for productions in the Berkshires. For those interested in musical theatre we will help them select a song appropriate for auditions. At the end of the week, students will perform in a special performance at Barrington Stage Company.

Vacation Camp at IS183 Art School, Stockbridge
Vegetation Imagination! Play with nature and clay. We’ll make clay vegetation, install it in constructed dioramas, design clay tiles inspired by nature, and create gorgeous 2D artwork featuring plants and flowers- real and imaginary! Ages 5-12.

April School Vacation Spring Explorers, Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Lenox
Join the adventure and explore Pleasant Valley in spring. Each day explore our forests, ponds and wetlands for new plant growth, early bird arrivals and emerging amphibians and reptiles. Suitable for children 7-9 years old. 10 AM – 3 PM.

Vacation Week: Draw! Draw! Draw!, Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge
Enjoy this fun-filled week of drop-in drawing activities and demonstrations with educator/illustrator Patrick O’Donnell inspired by the art of America’s favorite illustrator. Free for Museum members, or included with Museum admission. 1 PM – 4 PM.

All Day Game Day at 2 Flights Up, Dalton
This is a full day of tabletop gaming goodness! There will be 2 sessions of scheduled events and a growing game library available all day. You are also welcome to bring along any games of your own that you would like to play with new friends. Entry fee is included in monthly $5 membership. 11 AM – 10 PM.

Saturday Morning Cartoons, Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge
Spend a fun-filled morning watching a Hanna-Barbera’s classic animated cartoon. A delicious continental breakfast will be served. Free with Museum admission. Cartoon programs only, $5. 10 AM – 12 PM.

Easter Egg Hunt, Blue Rider Stables, South Egremont
Come and enjoy a Candy Free Eater Egg Hunt This is a free community event, where children can hunt eggs and have a great time with friends. Pony rides, hay maze, face painting and delicious refreshments available for an additional charge. 11 AM – 1 PM.

North-South Drawing Day, Clark Art Institute, Williamstown
Spend a day at the Clark with your family and be inspired! Pick up a complimentary sketchpad for drawing in our galleries, self-portrait studio, or figure drawing workshop. Learn more about the art of drawing and enjoy works by some of the Renaissance’s most famous artists with works on view in the special exhibition Looking North and South. 1 PM – 4 PM
