Yep, just your typical kid who aspires to be a millionaire! Only his grand ideas don’t always go as planned. February Freeze at Berkshire South Regional Community Center, Great Barrington

Vacation Ski & Outdoor Adventures at Notchview, Windsor

In the morning, kids learn to ski or fine tune their skiing skills with Notchview’s knowledgeable ski instructors. After a full morning of cross-country skiing on the trails, everyone heads back to the lodge for lunch followed by an afternoon of choice activities including more outdoor exploration of the woods or indoor arts and crafts. Lunch included! Ages 7-12. 8:45am – 3:30pm.

School Vacation Winter Adventure at Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Lenox
Each day we’ll learn about the wildlife that stays active in the cold and snow and the adaptations that enable these species to survive. Depending on the weather, we’ll build snow shelters and snowshoe or hike into remote parts of the sanctuary. Snowshoes/microspikes will be provided. Dress for the weather because we’ll be outside as much as possible; warm outerwear and boots required! Bring a lunch and two snacks each day. 10am – 3pm.

Help prepare enticing feasts for the turtles, fish, chameleon, and even the blue-tongue skink in the Aquarium! 12:30pm – 1:30pm.

Family Winter Olympics, Notchview, Windsor

Bring the family and head to the cobble for this fun winter obstacle course. Be prepared to be silly and work together to get to the finish line. Suitable for ages 5 and up. Kids Free. This event happens with or without snow. 11am – 1pm.

Presidents’ Day Celebration at The Clark, Williamstown

Celebrate Presidents’ Day in style with a trip to the Clark’s shiniest galleries! Learn about colonial silver in the newly opened Henry Morris and Elizabeth H. Burrows Gallery, metallic art-making activities and hear a colonial American fife and drum and more. All activities free; complimentary admission is provided to one adult per child participating in the activities. Children always admitted free. 11am – 4pm.

The Zoo Show is coming back to Berkshire Museum! Meet seven live animals from the Records and Burpee Zoo and learn about their adaptations, how they survive in the wild, and the consequences of keeping wild animals as pets. $15 adult, $8 child; Museum members $5 adult, $3 child.
