Learn how to make a simple, delicious cheese in your own kitchen. This workshop will cover equipment, supplies, and basic techniques used in making nearly all types of cheese. While making 3 types of cheese, fresh from start to finish, an emphasis will be on making a unique cheese unlike any at your local grocery store. After enjoying the fresh-made cheeses, each person will take home instructions and a set of ingredients to make a batch or two at home.

Our annual Fête des Fleurs is THE garden party of the season, and this year we celebrate the opening of Lucy's Garden, donated last autumn by Lucy and Nat Day and considered one of the finest collections of topiaries in North America. The event includes an official naming of the topiary characters, among them cavorting frogs, a hunting dog and pheasant, and Jumbo the elephant with his multi-ton root ball, howdah with glass ball finials, and water-spouting trunk.
