Our Vacation Week is packed with nature exploration and hands-on learning outside the classroom. Sign up for one, two, three, or all four days. Learn about wildlife that stays active in the cold and snow, and the adaptations that enable them to survive. Visit the equipment rack near the Manton Research Center and borrow a pair of snowshoes to discover the beauty of our campus in winter. Take pictures, share them with #clarkart, and leave us a note in the snowshoe journal (look inside the desk on the side of the rack) to tell us about your snow trek! The Ten Days of Play festival will take place throughout the Museum. The Crane Room will be filled with an exciting assortment of modular building toys: kids will enjoy a generous LEGO® station, explore color and gravity at the Tegu magnetic block station, stack structures with Bilderhoos, and innovate with the big blue blocks of the Imagination Playground. Ten Days of Play will also feature interactive activities for early learners, daily aquarium programs, and the popular Tinker Lab.
