Tour Manton Study Center

Visit the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper which houses the Clark’s collection of more than 6,000 prints, drawings, and photographs. Explore the works of art stored in the Study Center with a member of the Curatorial department. Each half-hour program brings to light a different selection of rarely exhibited works on paper. Free and open to the public; limited to 20 visitors on a first-come basis. Please enter through the Manton Research Center. Wednesdays in July & August. 1pm – 1:30pm.

StorySLAM

Members of the Williamstown community and beyond are invited to hear and tell stories that center around the theme of nature. Have you ever had a profound or unexpected experience in nature? How has the natural world opened your eyes or changed your perspective? On the evening of the event, names of those interested in sharing stories are chosen at random, and those selected are invited to tell a five-minute story. A panel of judges provides feedback and prizes are awarded. 7pm – 9pm.

Tanglewood Walking Tours

Free walking tours of the Tanglewood campus last approximately one hour and include visits to the Koussevitzky Music Shed, Ozawa Hall, other music facilities, the Visitor Center history rooms, and more. Experienced volunteer guides discuss the historical background of Tanglewood, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Tanglewood Music Center.
